The National Museum of Serbia has just recently reopened, after it has gone under reconstruction, about 15 years ago. The new permanent collection is massive, and includes a long chronological period, all the way from the Paleolithic period to 20th century art. The whole collection is organized into three levels spreading over 5000 square meters of exhibition space.
