The legacy of Petar Lubarda, the house where the artist lived with his wife Vera, is located in the residential part of Dedinje. Petar Lubarda is one of the most important protagonists of the contemporary history of Yugoslav art. His exhibition in 1951 announced the break with the art of social realism and an introduction to the art of abstraction. The villa in Dedinje exhibits works in a permanent setting in which visitors can see part of the gift, composed of paintings, furniture, photographs and correspondence left by the artist and his wife to his beloved city.
