It's a tale of three congenial female friends who set out for Tokyo and explore the land of the rising sun, of which they thought they knew already everything. On their turbulent journey through time through the history, culture and music of Japan, they discover a different, exotic and unknown face of this millenniums-old culture. During their adventures in the world of manga they dance through decades of Japanese-German pop history and let themselves be enchanted by the traditional and modern culture of Nippon.
