If you arrived by train it's unlikely you missed this place, which has been sneakily incorporated into the train station, making it one of the most centrally located shopping malls in Europe. It's also one of the most crowded. Galeria Krakowska offers 60,000 square metres of retail temptation over three floors. Among their 250 stores you'll find H&M, Zara, Reserved, Peek & Cloppenburg, Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, Sinsay, electronics giant Media Markt, and Carrefour supermarket, plus 1400 parking spaces, and a bustling food court area. In fact the mall itself and the large square in front of it are also home to frequent exhibits and events, and have helped contribute to the regeneration of the once-dodgy area.
Note that the hours we list for Sunday only apply to those increasingly rare Sundays when shopping is allowed. Although most shops inside are closed on Sundays, two pharmacies and all dining options inside Galeria Krakowska are open every Sunday.
