It is 1918 and Marshal Józef Piłsudski orders a creation of a Polish Navy. It is going to be a river navy, since Poland does not yet have an access to the Baltic Sea. So called River Flotillas go on to take part in the Polish-Soviet war of 1920, and as of 1931 they become the main component of the eastern border defence forces. The exhibition presents not only written historical materials and photographs, but  also films and animations. The exhibition is accompanied by an educational programme consisting of series of special events celebrating important anniversaries in the Polish river flotillas' history.
