Glasgow Royal Concert Hall

  2 Sauchiehall St      (+44) 141 353 8000     more than a year ago
Looming large at the top of Buchanan Street, the Royal Concert Hall’s 2,475 seat auditorium is a sight to behold and an aural treat. The venue’s aim is to present a diversity of events that appeal to Glaswegians and visitors. It’s played host to some of the world's greatest orchestras including the Moscow State and Vienna Philharmonic.

True to its aim, Bob Hope and Nelson Mandela have also taken to the stage... albeit on different occasions. But it's the Celtic Connections annual extravaganza in January that proves its most popular event. The Green Room restaurant serves tradition Scottish cuisine in a fine setting with great views.
