Museum of Nature and Hunting in Uzarzewo

  ul. Akacjowa 12, Uzarzewo     20 May 2026
Set within a sprawling park filled with monumental trees, Museum of Hunting and Nature in Uzarzewo combines stately architecture, natural history and a healthy dose of curiosity under one roof. Housed inside an elegant Neo-Renaissance palace, the museum explores the history of hunting through collections of historic weapons, accessories and trophies, while nearby stables and exhibition pavilions shift the focus toward wildlife and the natural landscapes of Greater Poland. There’s also an unexpectedly global dimension thanks to displays featuring animals from around the world and even a colourful parrot exhibition.

Families and younger visitors are well catered for through interactive quests and themed games that encourage a little exploration beyond standard museum wandering. Outside, the extensive grounds are worth time in their own right, while the nearby Bierbaum Mausoleum tower rewards those who climb it with elevated views over the surrounding landscape. Part stately home, part nature museum and part outdoor adventure, this is one of those places that quietly ends up taking more of your day than expected—in the best possible sense.
