The French Revolution is one of those historical events that is indelibly inked onto the psychological state of humanity, a famous happening that quite literally changed the world as we know it. Museums dedicated to it are nothing new, and Grenoble’s addition is definitely worth a look. The museum is located in the town of Vizille (10km or so south of Grenoble) and tells the story of that chaotic time. Entry is free, the best type of ticket price.

Open

Open 10:00-12:30, 13:30-17:00. Closed Tue.
