Each summer, the island of Hvar transforms into a magical open-air stage, blending centuries of history with the rhythm of live music and performance. From June 21 to September 11, 2026, the 65th edition of the Hvar Summer Festival will once again light up the island with a rich cultural programme set in its most stunning historic venues — from the Franciscan Monastery and the Cathedral of St. Stephen to the iconic open-air stage at Veneranda. This year’s programme offers a vibrant mix of classical music, ballet, pop, and rock, showcasing some of Croatia’s most celebrated artists alongside internationally acclaimed performers. Among the season’s standout highlights: July 7 – A breathtaking performance of Midsummer Scene: One For All (A Three Musketeers Tale). July 18 – Experience something truly unique this summer with blind tickets for a surprise concert on Galešnik Island. August 1 – One of the most distinctive and powerful voices of the region, Josipa Lisac, will perform in a unique open-air setting of Veneranda.
