Kino Mediteran is a project that has been bringing cinema back to Dalmatia for the past 14 years, with open-air screenings in more than 20 towns along the coast and on the islands. By reviving old venues and open-air cinemas, Kino Mediteran offers a unique summer experience: watching films on warm Mediterranean evenings under the stars.
The programme includes current blockbusters, the best of European and world cinema, children’s films, and selected titles from major film festivals. During the summer, films are screened with bilingual subtitles, making them accessible to international visitors. In Hvar, you can enjoy one of the biggest and most impressive open-air cinemas at Open air stage Veneranda and in Jelsa a charming outdoor venue in the town centre.
