Just because Jelsa is a town on an island paradise doesn’t mean that the usual charms of day-to-day life are all that different. As with any Croatian town worth its salt, life in Jelsa revolves around a picturesque square, one dotted with businesses, cafes, residential spots and more. In this case, we’re talking about the Square of the Croatian National Revival, although most folks call it the Pjaca. With access to the waterfront, a charming fountain, and a design that enhances its community element, the square is one of the most important spots in town. Many events take place here during the summer months.
