Located next to the Church of St Mary’s Assumption, this curious monument was created by Kuzma Kovačić in 2018 to celebrate those who took part in the island’s Za Križen procession centuries ago. The symbolism might not be immediately apparent, but it soon reveals itself in the cross as a mast and the jagged nails coming from all directions.
