The exhibition "Museums on Hvar – 75 Years of Systematic Heritage Preservation" marks the 75th anniversary of a visionary idea by Dr. Niko Duboković Nadalini, who in 1949 imagined the island of Hvar as a museum in itself. Today, this vision is kept alive by the Hvar Heritage Museum, the Stari Grad Museum, and the Jelsa Municipal Museum. The exhibition brings together selected highlights from the rich collections of these three institutions, showcasing carefully preserved artifacts and a timeline of museum activity on the island. Visitors can explore this story of cultural dedication and continuity starting in June at the Stari Grad Museum, and from mid-September at the Kravata Gallery in Jelsa.
