Kościerzyna's connection with the railways dates back to 1885, and this rather disappointing museum sets out to record its history from then until the present day. To the uninitiated it appears to be little more than a large collection of rusty trains curated by enthusiasts who also provide educational programmes to Polish school children. To you it may be something altogether more exciting, but be warned, you won’t find any information in English here. Find it to the east of the town, on the left as you drive in. Follow the Parowozownia Kościerzyna signs.
