No matter how many hangovers are endured, drinkers will find themselves happily returning to Bierhalle, time and time again. The reason for this is some of the best beer in the city, all of which are brewed on-site. There’s a number of brews to choose from, ranging from pilsner to amber marcowe to wheat (pszeniczne - our personal fave), and there are always a few seasonal ales to try. More than a microbrewery, Bierhalle offers a full restaurant offering stodgy Polish staples that go down well with a stein. The interior design is all heavy timber, bare brick and industrial flourishes, punctuated by staff dressed in Oktoberfest outfits, who work miracles hoisting the heavy tankards and keeping track of the deluge of food and drink orders. Perhaps a bit litsch, but in all the right ways.
