As popular as regional Silesian and Polish food is in Katowice, there is no sign of international flavours being left on the sidelines, and quite right, for where there is no choice, there is boredom. Having 'HQ' in Gliwice, Pataya is now trying its trade in Katowice, on one of the main streets no less. The interior is small but pleasant, with seating for couples and large groups. The sushi offering is extensive and before 15:30, there is a lunch special, which for only 23.99zł consists of Wonton soup and a small selection of Sushi (2-8 large sized pieces). If soup isn't your thing, a decent selection of sushi is also on offer from 19-22zł. Not bad for the price, and a fair option to come for a quick bite to eat or a more extensive effort of eating as much sushi as you can!
