Silesia can surprise with its beautiful and diverse architecture. Strikingly beautiful modern buildings stand right next to the renovated Art Nouveau tenement houses that restore the old splendour of Silesian streets. Some of the buildings are perfect examples of Neo-Renaissance or Neo-Baroque architectural style. The screening at the Silesian Museum consists of 48 slides from the collection of the museum, dating back to 1905-1944, the period that perfectly reflects the urban-industrial character of the Silesian region.
