Filip Rybkowski and Emilia Kina create historical theatre sets, visual puzzles of sorts, meant to help an audience to reconstruct the past events. They are designed to jolt a frozen memory, bringing the past into the forefront of our life. Once out in the open, the past becomes the present and cannot be ignored any longer. A question follows: What deserves to be preserved, which cultural object or which image of memory ought to survive? An audience is enticed to make that decision.
