Wojciech Korfanty was a Polish activist, journalist, and politician, who served as a member of the German parliaments and in the Polish Sejm. Wojciech Korfanty fought to protect Poles from discrimination and the policies of Germanisation in Upper Silesia before the war and sought to join Silesia to Poland after Poland regained its independence in 1918. He was a great, albeit misunderstood figure, most likely because he was way ahead of his times. The project presents Korfanty as the father of independent Poland and consists of the outdoor exhibition and the internet portal. The discussion panel will accompany the event.
