Kranj’s train station is located just west of the town and an easy 15-20 minute walk depending on which route you take. The shortest one is to follow Ljubljanska Cesta and cross the river, this will bring you into the old town on the south side, where you’ll pass the Gorenski Museum and Layer’s House.
