Centre for the Meeting of Cultures

  Plac Teatralny 1      (+48) 81 441 56 70     29 May 2024
The idyllically-named Centre for the Meeting of Cultures (PL: Centrum Spotkania Kultur - CSK) is reflective of Lublin's unique history as a bridge between Eastern and Western Europe, not to mention other contributions from cultures whose origins are even further away. The centre includes a cinema, several theatres, as well as functioning as an events venue for exhibitions, concerts, conferences, forums, etc. Most locals, however, are most familiar with the buildings fantastic lighting facade that generates patterns, images and text of all themes.

Restaurants on site include a brewery, Browar Zakładowy, on the ground floor, in addition to a restaurant/club, Piękna Pszczoła, up on the 4th floor. Amongst the performance spaces mentioned, there is a Teatr Andersena, devoted entirely to putting on plays and performances for children! You can take in some stunning views of Lublin on the 4th and 5th floor terraces, and there is a cultural shop with books that offers souvenirs for purchase. The 4th floor is also home to Miejska Pasieka Artystyczna, a business that produces its own honey.
