The iconic food item of the Lubelskie region, cebularz is a piece of flat bread covered in onion (PL: cebula) and poppy seeds.  Now officially listed on the register of traditional products, you have a chance to learn how this highly-scrutinised recipe is put together at the Region Museum of Cebularz. This small, single-room workshop is run by an enthusiastic group of living historians who get you involved in the baking process from the very start, from grinding the raw grain until it finally gets thrown in the oven for around 12 mins. It's a lot of fun and it's a great idea for larger groups.
