Schwangau

more than a year ago
This skiing area is definitely the most convenient if you plan to do some sightseeing as well. Schwangau is a breathtaking mountain village with beautiful cliffs and lakes, and two of Bavaria’s most famous castles, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. The highest lift is 1720m; daypasses cost €20 (youths €18, children €14). To get there, take the train to Füssen (2 hours, €18), then bus N˚9713 to Schwangau (10 minutes). By car take the A2 going south to Steingaden, and then the A17 to Schwangau.
