Wojciech Korfanty Mural

Created in 2018 to mark 100 years of Polish Independence, this mural depicts Silesia's very own national activist Wojciech Korfanty. The artwork is the project of Katowice Miasto Ogrodów, and was painted by Wojciech Walczyk. The mural is best seen from ul. Jerzego Dudy-Gracza (on the corner of where ul. Warszawska and ul. 1 Maja meet), not far from the city centre.
