Grand Hotel

Putting people to bed for over 120 years this splendid hotel in the heart of the city contains enough charm and panache to make you stand up and step back. Bursting with elegance, the fact that it’s a bit tatty in places matters little. Having been the state owned hotel in communist times, the Grand is now part of the Likus group of hotels. For those familiar with the Monopol in Wrocław, the hope must be that this classic hotel will also be returned to its pre-war splendour in the not too distant future. In the meantime find a decent mid-range effort brimming with bellboys and some breathtaking period flourishes plus a wonderful dining room operating as the Grand Restaurant.
