Step back in time to the halcyon days of the 1920s and '30s at the 'Enchanted Carriage' in the heart of Lublin's Old Town. This unique restaurant has managed to recreate the atmosphere of the interwar period, with genuine passion and attention paid to the smallest detail - from the authentic period furniture, photos and trinkets to even the smells and music.
Of course none of this would matter much if the menu didn't also match the mood, so we were glad to discover that the cuisine is also based on recipes from the same period, with many exquisite dishes you definitely won't find elsewhere. Choose from house specialties like Polish trout in lime sauce on radish, tomatoes and mini asparagus served with scorzonera mousse or a duck fillet on oranges, red cabbage and dried plums.
