The 'House of Fun & Culture,' or just DZiK for short (from its Polish name), is one of those places that defies even longtime wordsmiths like us from summing it up in a short, concise description. Located right near Łazienki (check it out after a visit to the park!), in essence it's an old house (1927 to be exact, which is fitting as it seems like a place that Gatsby would have hung out if he'd ever made it to Warsaw), with lots of its original furniture and character, that offers pretty much everything you could think of, and probably lots of things you can't. While it ticks the rather standard restaurant, bar and club boxes, it also plays host to a wide range of cultural events and inclusive parties, ranging from burlesque, cabaret, concerts and DJ nights to children's events and yoga sessions. There's a huge courtyard garden and the hangouts eclectic local crowd last looooong on weekends. At other times, you can grab lunch and dinner here, as they serve a decent menu of contemporary international cuisine! Needless to say, we highly recommend the place for many reasons. Check it out!
