WINO & Friends

Sometimes it’s not the best idea to mix Polish and English words in a name. ‘Wino (Polish word for Wine) & Friends’ conjured up images of a bunch of odorous down and outs meeting up for a bottle of Thunderbird after a short snooze on the tram. Of course, that’s not the case, this is a smart/casual little neighbourhood bistro/wine bar with a well thought out Mediterranean influenced international menu and a quite brilliant selection of fine wines. Add into the mix the amiable owner, a man who really cares about his customers’ opinions, some well attended wine tasting evening and Wino & Friends is certainly a key player in helping place this part of Muranów on the culinary map.
