The pinnacle of the gay scene in ’s-Hertogenbosch was at the last decade of the previous century. Gays and lesbians in those times had almost a dozen fun gay bars to choose from in town. In the year 2010, local and visiting gays have to make do with less than half of them. Which doesn’t mean that the ’s-Hertogenbosch gay scene has nothing exciting to offer anymore. Chez Nous was the oldest gay bar in Brabant but has been closed recently due to the death of its owner. The ‘s-Hertogenbosch gay scene received a recent new impulse with the return of PiNK. Every second Friday of the month nightclub De Caroussel in the Karrenstraat 1 serves as the monthly meeting point for this target group. An attractive, cosy nightclub with good facilities, many light effects and a licence to play music until 04:00. The entrance fee is 5 euros.
