The Kolarac Endowment is one of the oldest cultural and educational institutions in Serbia (founded in 1932) and it is known for its representative concert hall, intended for concerts of classical music. In addition to concerts, lectures are held frequently on a variety of subjects regarding natural and social sciences. The Art Gallery presents exhibitions of mostly young visual artists with one part of the gallery dedicated to the sale of those art works and the Art Cinema is a place where documentary and author's European films are shown. With over 300 musical programmes, Kolarac is one of Belgrade's most important cultural institutions, yet sadly, they suffer from a lack of funding. If you feel the need to invest into something worthwhile, Kolarac is a great choice.
