In 1834, Hadži Jeftimije Popović, archpriest of Vrnjačka Banja, built The Temple of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and he continued to serve there for 47 years. The nativity is celebrated on 21 September, to which an amazing mosaic above the entrance testifies. The church was expanded in both 1936 and 1973.
