Summer on Gradina is the beloved cultural and entertainment festival organized by the Rijeka Tourist Board that transforms the enchanting Trsat Castle—and newly upgraded Nugent Park—into the city's festive cultural hub each summer.
Now celebrating its 20th jubilee edition, the event runs from June 19 to August 31, 2025, offering over 20 events across music, theatre, family entertainment, and gastronomy.
Drawing tens of thousands from Rijeka and beyond, Summer on Gradina brings people together in a relaxed, scenic setting, showcasing unique performances, artistic flair, and delicious local treats.

July 6 (All day) – Pul Kaštela – Exhibition, art & photography along the Kaštel trail
July 11 (21:00) – Sergej Ćetković, Montenegrin pop singer with emotional ballads

July 17 (19:30) – Children’s play: Three Brothers and Three Castles, an imaginative performance for kids
