After being unceremoniously, and a bit controversially, kicked out of their previous locale, this cult student dive has relocated to a different side of the Rynek and reopened in the same spirit. Though the accumulated atmosphere of over 20 years in the old place is irreplaceable, this counter-culture centre continues to possess an against-the-mainstream vibe that elevates it above Tarnów's other bars. It's also got the best beer selection in town, with over 100 bottled Polish microbrews, including their own specially-crafted ale - 'Piwnicki Duch' (Ghost in the Cellar). Also functioning as a gallery and music venue, Przepraszam ('Sorry' in English) hosts vinyl record evenings on Weds, karaoke on Thurs, head-banging rock parties on the weekends, and loud local bands frequently. It's where IYP editors drink and doodle when they're in town.

Certainly the best bar in Tarnów we found. The beer selection kept us coming back.
