Regional Center of Education about Remembrance

The Regional Center for Education about Remembrance operates in a former barracks where the 16th Infantry Regiment of the Polish Army was stationed in the interwar period. A new branch of the District Museum in Tarnów, Brig. Zdzisław Baszak was founder, and he was arrested and imprisoned by the communists after the war. The museum with its collection of military memorabilia from the Polish Home Army, including exhibits of Russian- and German-made weaponry, is worth a visit for those who are curious. They also run training sessions and educational workshops with a youth-focus.
