The path around Velenje’s smallest lake it is just two kilometres long, making it a good and easy choice for little legs to keep up or with the use of strollers. You can also extend that to join the larger neighbouring lake of Lake Velenje, which is a popular joggers route. However far you choose to walk or run you’ll find the picturesque scenery a joy to absorb. There’s plenty of wildlife to look out for along the way too and also some gym equipment for that extra push. Fishing permits can be bought and the lake is home to zander and pike, as well as some rather large cat-fish and carp.
