On July 22 Midsummer Vilnius will present an extraordinary evening of refined music, featuring the world-famous Kremerata Baltica, together with the legendary violinist and artistic director Maestro Gidon Kremer. In the courtyard of the Palace of the Grand Dukesclassical music gourmets will be drawn into a vortex of sophisticated sounds.
The orchestra, that holds concerts in Lithuania only for special occasions, will perform alongside Gidon Kremer and will enrich the festival's program with magnificent pieces of classical music.
Kremer's repertoire is wide and varied: classical works are presented through a fresh and modern angle and creations of new talented composers and undeservedly forgotten authors get their moment of fame in the hands of an incredible musician.
