The play Martyr revolves around a teenager Benjamin who is being brought up by a single mother. Once he discovers the Bible, he finds all the answers to the questions that worry him. And he turns the Holy Script into the instrument of torture for those who surround him because he thinks he’s the only one to know what is right and what is wrong. When criticized by his mother or teachers, he snaps at them with biblical quotes. He despises the minister who teaches at school for his shaky reputation and a weak ideological position, which becomes the subject of school arguments. It is only the teacher of biology who challenges Benjamin. When she starts studying the Bible thoroughly, she faces the student’s revenge... Thus a war between a teacher and a student breaks out.
