The War Hasn't Yet Started
Monday Mar 25 19:00–21:00
Gedimino 4
The characters of the performance are the same people as we live in any city in the world: parents and children, men and wives. The pressure on them is also a problem for each of us: the fear of losing relatives and breaking family ties, new technologies, abandoned helpless grandparents in the countryside. A consumer society, accustomed to choosing the best, and forgetting about true feelings. Aggression in the streets and various forms of escapism.
Dramatist Michail Durnenkov is one of the best contemporary theater dramatists, resident at the Royal Court Theater in London, a frequent participant in international festivals. The War Hasn't Yet Started or TWHYS was created for Glasgow (Scotland) Theater and is translated into English, Romanian, Czech, Italian, Lithuanian, and Finnish.
