The Fanmeile is located in the middle of the Great Tiergarten on the street of the 17th of June, which will be closed to motorists for the duration of the event. In 2006, it was 1.8 kilometres long and 40 meters wide, so it had an area of 72,000 square meters. This is the size of fourteen football fields. On it there were nine large screens with a total of 234 square meters screen. The largest screen stood with about 60 square meters directly in front of the Brandenburg Gate. If you like huge crowds it does not get better than this! Free entrance, but remember: no back backs and other luggage allowed.
