Bratislava is the perfect hub for traveling around Slovakia, as any destination in the country worth its salt is connected to the mighty capital city. Bratislava is also as worthy of the tired ‘crossroads’ moniker as anywhere in Europe, with a host of other capitals easily accessed from it by bus, train or plane. Whether you are looking to travel as far away as London or as close as Vienna, you can get there from Bratislava. You can even get around by canoe, although we don’t quite trust ourselves with that.
