Being a coastal country, Croatia has its fair share of lighthouses and this exhibit aims at bringing to the public the historical, social, artistic, technical and useful significance of such wonders. It coincides in the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the construction of the Savudrija Lighthouse - the first major lighthouse on the Adriatic, with which the lighthouse service began to be organised.
