Until recently, this place was known as 'i Krowa Cała' (English: ..and the cow whole), which was a reference to a Polish saying ‘Wilk syty i owca cała’ which, in English, translates as 'The wolf is full and the sheep is whole (unharmed)'. While the new name may not sound as clever, their all-vegan menu has now expanded from fast food (soups, burgers, fries and a dairy-free zapiekanki) to incorporating a 'curry house' section, which draws much inspiration from Southern Indian and South-East Asian cuisine. They serve the whole traffic-light of curry (green, red and yellow) with rice or couscous. Everything remains as tasty and satisfying as always and we still adore the Soczewica (lentil) burger with mustard sauce. Keep an eye out for their lemonades and Smufis (a great example of an English word being put through the Polish press).
