For anyone who prefers exploring landscapes from water level, the Six Lakes Trail through the Potrzanowskie Lakes offers a leisurely paddle through one of the region’s more scenic corners. Beginning at the beach in Potrzanów, the route links six lakes via the narrow channels of the Dzwonowski Canal, creating a gently winding journey through forests, reed beds and calm stretches of water. White and yellow water lilies brighten the route in season, while Lake Brzeźno is often singled out as the prettiest stop along the way. At around 12km, it’s less an endurance challenge and more an excuse to slow down, drift a little and enjoy the scenery.
