Ostriches have generally got a bad rap when it comes to their depiction in popular culture, but we've alway had a soft spot for them. How can you not? They've got all the drawbacks of being a bird (no arms, delicious eggs that everyone wants to eat) with none of the benefits (the glory of flight). Whether you love them or think they're ridiculous, a day at the ostrich farm along the shores of Lake Garczyn (just to the west of Kościerzyna) is a day well spent, especially if you've got little ones.
