The permanent exhibition of the antiquities collection in Schloss Wilhelmshöhe has been extended by a collection history part. This expansion is particularly dedicated to the acquisitions of Landgrave Friedrich II, whose purchases in Rome in 1776/77 and the opening of the Museum Fridericianum 1779.
