Alte Brüderkirche

Brüderstraße     more than a year ago
What a beaut! The only historical building in the city that's in its original state, the Gothic 13th century Brüderkirche church was part of the Carmelite monastery until the 1526 Reformation turned it into a Protestant church, a run that lasted until 1970. The church is now used as an events location with catering by the Grischäfer culinary team based in the Renthof hotel next door. Keep an eye out for the so-called ‘Warning Angel’ outside.
