One of the many strengths of Kato's annual Ars Cameralis Festival is its diversity and the unique interdisciplinary, eclectic attitude. The festival combines art events, music concerts, literature lectures, theatre performances, film screenings, a variety of workshops, and meetings with artists. The most exciting aspect of the festival each year is the international musicians it brings to Silesia, playing intimate (and crazy affordable) concerts in small venues like Hipnoza and Kino Rialto.

This year's festival is titled 'Event Horizon' (Horyzont Zdarzeń) and yet somehow doesn't include a screening of the sci-fi horror film of the same name (go figure). Instead, catch screenings of 1984, Barton Fink, Jarhead, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Blade Runner 2049 and the BAFTA Shorts 2022, plus concerts by Lea Bertucci & Ben Vida, Zombie Zombie, Jimi Tenor, Młyn, Anna B Savage, and Lisa Morgenstern. The events take place in various venues around Katowice.
