Even if you've never heard of the film The Lost World (1925), you've definitely felt its influence in cinema and beyond, as this early work of director Harry O Hoyt inspired a panoply of classics in the sci-fi genre, from King Kong and Godzilla onwards. In much the same way that Hoyt utilised every technical trick in the book (and then some) for his magnum opus, Franz Danksagmüller will accentuate the film even further with the help of NOSPR's massive organ and various electronics. It'll be a night of unique artistry spanning almost a full century of cultural achievement.
