The Bellevue is on the green eastern edge of Lucerne a few 100m from the lake shore, but still only 12 minutes by bus from the centre. The clean, simple rooms have carpeted floors, large windows and many have a balcony with views of the mountains, though not the lake. They come with a flat-screen TV, radio, telephone and minibar. The Bellevue does not have a restaurant or bar, but its sister hotel Hermitage across the road offers upmarket gastronomy. Other facilities like a tennis court or sauna are available there. Family rooms for up to 6 people available. Closed in January and February.
