Hans Erni was and still is one of the most influential local artists in Lucerne. He died in 2015 at the tender age of 106. The commemorative exhibition <em>Hans Erni - Quintessential</em> affords visitors a different look at his artwork. It places an emphasis on the major abstract works of his early years, the processing of some contemporary and biographical events and the impact of the Lucerne region on his work. On display are some works that have never been shown before as well as some that have been forgotten for decades.
